On April 12th at the NAB Show, Adobe announced its flagship product line-up, Creative Suite 5. The entire event can be viewed its entirety on Adobe TV.

Just days before the announcement, Adobe and Apple were in a heated debated regarding the use of Flash Professional CS5 as a development tool for multiple devices, including the Apple iPhone.

However, as Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch pointed out, Creative Suite 5 is a lot more than just a development platform for the iPhone. Boasting over 250 features, the product line is designed to increase productivity and deliver business results.

For marketers — traditional and digital, Creative Suite 5 is an opportunity to expand beyond content creation. It’s about measurement. It’s about creativity. And, it’s about impact.

With its latest release, Adobe has simplified and streamlined essential production environments. As a marketer, you get access to the following:

  • Create once, publish anywhere: Flash Professional CS5 allows you to create and distribute content to a number of different destinations — online, mobile and set top.
  • Measured results: With Adobe’s acquisition of Omniture, its web tools connect creation with measurement, helping you gain visibility.
  • Digital art: Photoshop CS5 is chock-full of new features, allowing creative professionals and artists to be more creative on a deadline.
  • Speed and stability: With the release of CS5, many applications focused on core stability, ensuring fast turnarounds and productivity.

While the products are scheduled to ship in a few weeks, you can read more about the tools and their features on Adobe.com.
