In the first of an ongoing series on case studies, we take a quick look at a customer story video project for Google’s Get Your Business Online project, which appeals to local businesses by state. It’s a nice example of making use of the customer to tell a compelling and relatable story to demonstrate a concept or product.
In anticipation of their Texas Get Your Business Online initiative, Google contracted Magnet Media to produce a series of micro documentaries about the importance of maintaining an online presence for small business owners in Texas. Magnet Media was responsible for casting, scheduling, producing, and editing all elements of the micro documentary videos. Google was so pleased with the work, they asked Magnet to design collateral for the event and expanded to scope of the project to include many more videos.
The video above features Bird’s Barbershops in Texas, which now has a stylish web presence.
